We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with experience in a manufacturing setting ,

The main focus of this role is to collaborate with reliability and mechanical engineers, equipment operators, maintenance, and operations to ensure optimal performance of equipment and minimal downtime along with maximum efficiently.

This position offers a benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability, paid time off,, and an automatic and matching employer 401K contribution, an annual salary of $ 90-120K annually, with bonus eligibility, relocation assistance is available.

The Electrical Engineer will:

  • Provide technical support to maintenance and operations to reduce equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance

  • Provide technical oversight of manufacturing equipment and systems

  • Spend 70% of their time on the production floor, observing, making recommendations for process improvements, and interacting with operators, maintenance, reliability, and operations

  • Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with low to medium voltage equipment

  • Preferred knowledge and troubleshooting skills of overhead and gantry cranes

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, drives, DC/AC control systems, and 13.8 KV/480 KV power systems

  • PLC programming (ex. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon)

  • Work with frequency drives, combustion systems, and instrumentation control.

  • Utilize knowledge of National Electrical Code, including NFPA70E

  • Estimate maintenance/project cost and accurate timelines

Candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering

  • 3+ years experience in a heavy industrial setting

  • Experience working on equipment used in the manufacturing process

  • Willingness to spend significant time on the production floor interacting with operators, the engineering team, and operations

  • Ability to perform the duties listed above

  • Due to Governmental contracts, applicants must be US Citizens or possess eligibility under TN NAFTA guidelines

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
