A paint prepper prepares a vehicle body or other surface for painting. In this career, your job duties include all aspects of preparation. We're always seeking employees who are willing to cheerfully work in a team environment to contribute to the success of the team and our business.

Responsibilities : Assist painters by prepping vehicles for paint and polishing vehicles prior to delivery. This involves steps such as the removal of dirt from the surface and parts due for painting. You may sand, polish, retouch, buff, degrease, or otherwise clean the surface. You may also mix color, blend paint, and load paint into spray-painting equipment. A paint prepper may sometimes need to apply primer to the surface to prepare and protect it until the painters perform their job.

Qualifications : A valid driver's license is required as well as a good driving record, great attitude, and previous experience in the automotive paint industry prepping and polishing cars.

Schedule : Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with an hour lunch. Hours may vary based on workload.
