Produces a variety of parts by operating a variety of machines (brake presses, punch presses, shears, saws, and welding equipment) and work on paint-line as material handler, loading and unloading parts as directed by the lead person or by supervisor to comply with the production schedule. Located in Paris, KY!

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Welds steel parts as specified by prints, diagram, work orders or oral instructions.

• Must have knowledge of mig welding

• Must be able to read prints and work orders.

• Must be able to set jigs, read tape measure and steel gauges.

• Must be able to perform minor maintenance on welding machines and guns.

• Must weld a quality product for production runs at standard.

• Must be able to operate abrasive saw, hand grinder, brake press , shear, punch press, mig welder, and other small hand tools.

• Must maintain production standards.

• Performs highly repetitive types of operations on welding and other equipment and as material handler on paint line.

• Maintains product quality standards.

• Must give accurate production reporting.

• Drive forklift.

• Performs other duties where needed.
