Job Summary:

This Supervisor will be a daily operational leader of an activity or activities. This Supervisor is responsible for the operational direction of their area including staffing, facility readiness, equipment maintenance, opening and closing procedures, guest experience, and more! In this position, you will be responsible for directly monitoring the safety and overall quality of the activities operation.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range:  $23.00 - $24.26 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Part Time

  • Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures of the resort handbook and the best practices

  • Responsible for the daily operation of all Activities within their assigned area including ticket redemption

  • Responsible for guest and employee safety including compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures, daily operational logs, and emergency response.

  • Actively foresee, plan for, and mitigate any hazards or risks associated with their activity area

  • Assist with training assessments, check off forms, and provide daily coaching and guidance to Activities employees.

  • Safe use of company vehicles.

  • Ensure compliance with daily, monthly, and annual inspection logs.

  • Assist management in monitoring and controlling daily payroll, budget, and schedule.

  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external guest interactions.

  • Performance management for a team of 15+ including training, and job execution to meet guest service, employee engagement, safety, and financial goals.

  • Manage activity inventory and liaise with all other departments to promote a seamless customer experience.

  • Complete performance appraisals and end-of-season forms; partner with their Manager to approve performance appraisals, and disciplinary documentation, or assist with HR activity relating to their area.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • At least 1 year of Guest Service Experience

  • Min. 1 Years previous Leadership experience in a dynamic operational setting

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to work outdoors for up to 10 hours in various weather conditions

  • Ability to lift and carry 100lbs

  • Excellent guest service

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend, and understand English fluently

  • Ability to work the entire length of the season

  • Satisfactory motor vehicle check and a valid driver's license

This is a combined sitting and standing/walking position for up to 10 hours each. May lift up to 100 lbs. Workers will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a rare to occasional basis. Will use hands for grasping and pushing/pulling at a 25 lb. to 30 lb. rate. Worksite can be up to 100% outside. Exposed to all temperatures and all moisture ranges. Hazards are mechanical, electrical, burns, and ice/snow. Uniform shirts are supplied. Sensory skills of vision, hearing, touch, smell, and speech are needed. Must occasionally make quick decisions regarding the safety of up to 200 guests. Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees in situations that may have an audience (i.e., large lift lines). Will perform service recovery and resolve any guest issues. Leadership of 15 staff members.

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $24.26. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
