Paola Middle School is accepting applications for an Assistant Principal/Athletic Director for the 2025-2026 school year. Paola Middle School serves approximately 450 students in grades 6th 8th and includes a self-contained, special education classroom composed ofstudents from the eight district, East CentralKansas Special Education Cooperative.

Paola Middle School is a member of the Frontier League and sponsors eight middle level athletic teams (football, volleyball, cross country, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls wrestling, and track) and well as several activities (cheer, dance, scholars bowl, choir, and band).

First screening of applicants will occur on January 23rd, 2025 with interviews tentativelyscheduled forJanuary 30th and 31st.

This positions works a 203 day, 10.5 month (August Mid June) contract with 4 personal days and 9 sick days of paid leave per year.

A masters degree in building administration from an accredited college/university and current Kansas certification as a Building Administrator is required for the position.
