Job Summary:

Central Moloney seeks a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. This role supports the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks, with a focus on HRIS (Human Resources Information System) management. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kronos/UKG or similar HRIS software and be eager to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain and update HRIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Process new hire paperwork and conduct onboarding sessions.
  • Assist with employee relations issues and guide HR policies.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics as needed.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support payroll processing and timekeeping functions using Kronos/UKG or similar systems.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and systems.
  • Maintain employee files, including setting up new hire files, general filing, and termination files.
  • Maintain communication throughout the plant: virtual and physical postings/updates.
  • Provide administrative support to the Plant Director and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Kronos/UKG; experience with configuration is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Office environment within a manufacturing facility.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
