Day/Hours: Mon-Friday 7:00am-5:00 pm. On-Call, Rotation with Overtime (nights and weekends) as required.
Rate of Pay: $18-$30 PER HOUR, DOE

SUMMARY:
As an
Electrical Service and Install Technician,
Assist and learn how to service HVAC systems in accordance with the company's approved operating practices and with the highest level of customer care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform all work in accordance with electrical codes, blueprints, and industry standards.
- Calibrate and test electrical systems to meet specified requirements.
- Complete required documentation of repairs, service information, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain adequate inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and parts to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to prevent future issues.
- Troubleshoot problems, make timely repairs, and ensure the reliability of electrical systems.
- Follow best practices to maintain high standards of safety and quality in all work.
- Complete general in-home service calls and installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Establish rapport with customers to recommend the right products and services, including finance options and maintenance plans.
- Work alongside customer service and dispatch teams to ensure overall business success and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and well-inventoried service vehicle.
- Participate actively in training, morning meetings, trade shows, and other professional development activities.
- Train and mentor apprentices, ensuring they understand and perform accurate repairs and installations.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Able to Pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
- Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school PREFERRED
- 1+ years of electrical experience-PREFERRED
- Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
