Description

We are seeking a Patient Service Representative for our client located in Panama City Beach, Florida. Your primary responsibilities will include involvement in patient access projects, verifying insurance, and managing front desk duties within a medical setting. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and necessitates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC software.

Responsibilities:

• Process patient access information accurately

• Handle inbound calls from patients efficiently

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors

• Verify patient insurance details and process authorizations

• Oversee front desk duties within a medical environment

• Keep patient records up-to-date and accurate

• Address any patient inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Use EPIC software for various administrative tasks

• Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions

Requirements

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with authorizations, including insurance verification and patient consent

• Familiarity with patient access procedures, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and relationship management

• Proficient in using Epic Software for patient record management and scheduling appointments
