Ford Model E Infotainment Platform Team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers in developing cutting edge vehicle access experiences.

What You'll Do…

• Hire, lead, mentor and inspire a team of highly skilled software engineers specializing in Bluetooth Low Energy, Ultrawide Band, NFC technologies.

• Foster a collaborative and high performing team culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.

• Define and drive technical roadmap for Vehicle Access features, CCC Digital Key specification and integration, aligning with overall product strategy and market trends.

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing and deployment.

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet performance, reliability and scalability requirements.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to define product specification and ensure successful execution.

• Champion engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, particularly in the areas of multimedia frameworks, automotive infotainment and Android development.

• Manage team performance, conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.

You'll have…

• B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• 3+ years of experience of managing and leading engineering teams in automotive or consumer electronics domain.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Experience working on vehicle access domain with NFC, UWB, BT Low energy technologies.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.

Even better, you may have…

• M.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• Experience negotiating with hardware and software vendors.

• Familiarity with the CCC specification.

• Experience working in a startup environment.
