*Summary *     

As a Knowledge Technology Analyst, you will be supporting databases and legal technology platforms for the Knowledge department, including data quality review and analysis. Analysts coordinate with management, vendors, consultants, and IT to troubleshoot issues and ensure the tools are functioning optimally. They are responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate documentation; providing user support and training; and, serving as the primary project manager on upgrades and other system changes. For the current opening we are specifically looking for an individual to serve as primary support for our experience database, which contains information about the work we do and the expertise of our lawyers.

This position can be remote.  

    

Responsibilities    

  • Navigating databases proficiently, performingcomplex system searches and providingaccurate informationin a timely manner. This includes ensuring the data is cleaned and standardized.

  • Routinely troubleshooting the system, training users on the platform (across all professional levels from legal secretary to partner, and from 1-on-1 calls to large group presentations), project managing upgrades, updating documentation, and working with vendor support to fix any system issues.

  • Responsibilities also include importing data, making changes to the intake form, maintaining integrations with other systems, monitoring users for compliance, and collaborating with other departments to ensure data completeness, accuracy and integrity.

  • Coordinating with support resources outside the United States for this global database.

  • As part of the Knowledge department – which includes Knowledge Technology, Knowledge Management, Research and Litigation Support – you will also have the opportunity to collaborate on other technology projects as part of our mission to help our lawyers practice smarter.

  • Perform other tasks as requested or assigned. 

Desired Skills     

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data and instructions to varying audiences. Must be creative, flexible, capable of solving complex problems, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger diverse team. Project management skills and attention to detail required along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of SQL, XML, JSON and REST APIs is desirable.

   

Minimum Education     

  • High School or GED  

Preferred Education   

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in related field

      

Minimum Years of Experience    

  • 3 years’ experience in a technical support role,working with both end users and software vendors/contractorsto resolve issues.

  • Experience must include working withIntappDealCloud, LiteraFoundation, or comparablesoftware platforms.

  • Experience at a law firm or legal software company preferred.

Physical Demands     

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $90,589 - $134,755 per year. If hired to work in San Francisco or Palo Alto the expected annual pay range is $94,528 - $140,614 per year. If hired to work in San Diego, Seattle, Los Angeles, or Washington, D.C. the expected annual pay range is $86,650 - $128,896 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
