Job Title: A&P Mechanic (General Aviation)

Job Description:

A well-established flight operation and maintenance facility in the Bay Area is seeking A&P Mechanics with general aviation (GA) experience to join its team. We operate a diverse fleet of 63 piston-engine aircraft , including Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Cirrus models.

We are hiring three experienced mechanics to support ongoing maintenance operations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of GA experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Candidates with Inspection Authorization (IA) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on GA aircraft

• Conduct thorough inspections in compliance with FAA regulations

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues

• Accurately document all maintenance work and logbook entries

• Collaborate with flight operations to ensure aircraft availability

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ FAA A&P Certification (Required)

✔ 2+ years of general aviation maintenance experience (Major airline experience is NOT ideal)

✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

✔ Ability to work independently and within a team environment

✔ Must have basic tools (Company provides a $100/month tool stipend)

✔ Inspection Authorization (IA) is a huge plus
