ManpowerGroup Accounting AP Specialist in Palo Alto, California

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Accounting AP Specialist to join their team. As an Accounting AP Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with upper management.

Job Title: Accounting AP Specialist

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Pay Range: $40 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Processing and maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling vendor’s statements, and assuring accurate payments to suppliers.

  • Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger. Maintaining cash applications, and chargebacks.

  • Maintaining organized and accurate financial records and documentation.

  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and appropriate authorization.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 4-5 years of working experience in account payables, accounting, financial and business principles that maximized revenue and profits in a manufactured environment.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.
