General Atomics and Affiliated Companies Project Administrator in Palmdale, California

With general supervision, this position is responsible for the administration of operational aspects of ongoing projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate detailed and comprehensive flight and ground operations procedures, ensuring full compliance with DCMA 8210 regulations.

  • Coordinate project timelines and milestones, ensuring all key stakeholders are informed and involved.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, and clients to resolve challenges and optimize outcomes.

  • Act as a representative of our organization in external collaborations

  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

  • Stay adept with evolving software and technical tools.

  • Continuously improve documentation/communication policies and procedures.

  • Maintains process documentation and department training materials.

  • Collaborative training of peers as needed.

  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory obligations in all business activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Must demonstrate a basic understanding of project administration principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.

  • Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.

  • Adaptable to evolving environments and contributing to new processes.

  • Customer-focused with:

  • Problem-solving skills and data analysis competence.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Effective interpersonal skills for professional interactions.

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

  • Independent and team-oriented work ethic.

  • Familiarity with DCMA and 8210 regulations is a plus.
