Role Purpose:

Carrier Corporation is seeking a qualified candidate for a summer intern position in the WHQ logistics team. This role will support logistics optimization, cost savings, and IT projects. The intern will work closely with various departments in Supply Chain Management, IT, and finance to help drive improvements by implementing digital logistics tools.

Carrier is looking for a Supply Chain Intern for our Summer 2025 cohort from May – August 2025 at our Palm Beach Gardens, FL location.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading logistics projects across multiple business functions and regions.

  • Support business process and value stream mapping.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and improve logistics processes.

  • Oversee projects related to software development, implementation, and integration within the logistics domain.

  • Support the implementation of the Carrier Corp. logistics strategy.

  • Assist in the execution of strategic supply chain projects from planning to implementation.

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer service.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics projects.

  • Drive standard work procedures across facilities and regions.

  • Stay up to date on logistics industry trends and technologies and identify breakthrough opportunities for cost reduction, including digital transformation.

  • Incorporate emerging technologies and business trends in logistics, transportation, and distribution into the strategic plan.

  • Identify spend saving opportunities, standardize and implement key operational and financial metrics.

  • Embrace and promote the Carrier Way (vision, values, culture) internally and externally to create a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusivity.

  • Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to monitor operational performance and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Adhere to all Carrier rules and codes of ethics.

  • Provide expertise to business leaders on supply chain matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or Business

  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in transportation and warehouse operations.

  • Basic knowledge of project management principles.

  • Familiarity with transportation policy and transportation optimization strategies across all modes.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Experience with data analytics, including MS Excel.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting operational priorities.
