Position Specific Description

IT Agile Leader - Generative AI: we are seeking an experienced IT Agile Leader to oversee the development of cutting-edge generative AI solutions across multiple agile development pods. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies, and driving the successful delivery of innovative AI products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of multiple agile development pods dedicated to generative AI solutions

  • Foster collaboration and communication among team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional groups

  • Ensure adherence to agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews

  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure teams operate efficiently and effectively

  • Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, taking proactive measures to mitigate issues

  • Promote continuous improvement and facilitate the adoption of best practices

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth

  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and subject matter experts to align deliverables with business objectives

  • Establish and maintain metrics for measuring team performance and project success

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing agile software development teams

  • Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies, principles, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

  • Strong understanding of generative AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities effectively

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with agile project management tools and practices

  • Proficiency in risk management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving

  • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agile Leader)

  • Experience in the AI/ML domain, particularly with generative AI applications

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and DevOps practices

  • Familiarity with data engineering and data science workflows

  • Prior experience leading cross-functional, distributed teams

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching capabilities

Job Overview

This position guides teams in the execution of agile initiatives to deliver customer value. Employees in this role train and coach in the use of Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, and scale agile framework practices.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Trains and coaches leaders, teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindset

  • Contributes in Communities of Practice (CoP), within the agile network

  • Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization

  • Facilitates periodic synchronization meetings across several different onsite and distributed delivery teams

  • Prepares program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectives

  • Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program features and program and team objectives

  • Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks

  • Embraces a continuous improvement mindset, and drives the use of agile engineering best practices and innovation

  • Reports on standardized program-level metrics, and understands, tracks, and operates within the program budget

  • Plays an instrumental role in the organization's Agile transformation, acts as a change agent, and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

  • Experience: 6+ years
