Job Description:

L3Harris is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a new college graduate to embark on a career in supply chain management. As an entry-level Supply Chain Manager, you will be immersed in various aspects of supply chain operations, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting and grow within a dynamic industry.

Essential Functions:

  • Engage in supply chain activities, focusing on optimizing workflows and ensuring timely delivery of products.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to guarantee prompt and accurate delivery of goods.

  • Assist in managing inventory levels and implementing best practices for inventory control.

  • Support procurement processes by helping to evaluate potential suppliers and their offerings.

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities and assist in implementing solutions.

  • Work closely with various teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to achieve organizational goals.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, as well as compliance with legal standards and regulations.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and the establishment of supplier agreements.

  • Address and help resolve any supply chain issues that may arise.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires broad theoretical job knowledge. Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Internship or co-op experience in supply chain management or related field.

  • Involvement in relevant student organizations or extracurricular activities.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply academic knowledge to practical situations.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for learning supply chain management software.

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A foundational understanding of supply chain principles and practices.

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
