Induction Heating Electrician | Contract to Hire

Job Description

The Induction Heating Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of induction heating equipment used in our manufacturing processes. This role involves ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime of the equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and providing technical support and training to other staff.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot induction heating equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems related to induction heating.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in induction heating systems using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that induction heating equipment complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.

  • Provide technical support and training to other maintenance staff and production operators regarding induction heating systems.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment.

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of induction heating systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong experiencein electrical systems, with specific experience in induction heating technology.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing setting, with specific experience in induction heating systems.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing area filled with CNC machines, manual machines, and large induction furnaces. The environment includes exposure to industrial noise and heat. The standard shift is from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Saturdays open based on workload. The dress code requires steel toe boots, jeans, and a t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Painesville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00
