[The Industrial Pretreatment Inspector position involves a broad range of technical duties associated with the oversight of wastewater discharge by industrial facilities into publicly owned treatment systems.

]{georgia",="" serif"=""}[Essential Job Functions:]{georgia",="" serif"=""}

• [Performs all industrial on-site facility inspections, which includes discharge records, MSDS files, process lines, chemical storage, and pretreatment units. Updates industrial user inventory and FOG contributors through inspections and mailings. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}
• [Performs all industrial sampling events, including the installation of automatic samplers in monitoring manholes at the industrial site for collection of flow, time-based composite samples, or grab samples. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}
• [Performs collection system inspections on industrial and commercial regions of the collection system. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}
• [Maintains field sampling, monitoring, and inspection records. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}
• [Identifies and analyzes, through sampling and flow monitoring, sources and concentrations of pollutants determining the possible impact on the POTW and provides recommendations to effectively pre-treat the industrial waste stream.]{georgia",="" serif"=""}
