ARAMARK Sales Manager - Executive Meetings - Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California

Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Asilomar Conference Grounds, you will have the unique opportunity to excel in a world-class sales role. You will be responsible for achieving our quarterly plan in the Executive Meeting business segment, ensuring that we meet and exceed our annual sales targets. Your success will hinge on your ability to develop strong client relationships, cultivate a robust sales pipeline, and facilitate successful agreements that showcase our exceptional venue. In this role, your daily tasks will include gathering client intelligence, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating pricing parameters, and ultimately securing contracts. COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position ranges from $68,000 to $78,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Leadership Team and operational leaders to achieve annual sales targets and draft contracts that align with our sales approach.

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets within the Executive Meeting business segment.

  • Engage in effective prospecting activities that align with targets defined by Sales Management.

  • Deliver client timelines and meet all installation deliverables through close coordination with client partners.

  • Conduct persuasive presentations to win new business.

  • Use effective sales methods to acquire new customers.

  • Implement a mix of sales strategies, including an outside sales program.

  • Maintain and update the sales software database on a daily/weekly basis as directed by Sales Management.

  • Prepare for client appointments by conducting thorough client research, tailoring sales materials, and making use of available resources.

  • Communicate effectively with Operational Leaders regarding group bookings.

  • Foster a culture of guest service, consistently promoting courtesy, goodwill, and a positive attitude in all interactions.

  • Work collaboratively and in a friendly manner with fellow leaders.

  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, although equivalent experience in business-to-business or outside sales, specifically in new account generation, will also be considered. Previous experience in hospitality sales is a plus.

  • Shown success in hotel sales, with a history of innovative thinking and effective leadership.

  • Knowledge of general sales techniques and strategies.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with a consultative selling approach.

  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

  • Possession of a valid driver?s license.

  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong work ethic and self-initiative.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work varying schedules based on business needs.

  • Basic computational ability.

  • Ability to stay focused and complete work assignments on time, even in the face of frequent interruptions.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain excellent relationships with cross-functional leaders and line-level staff while maintaining confidentiality.
