Mercury Systems Mechanical Assembler (2nd shift) in Oxnard, California

Mercury Systems is looking for a high performer to join our assembly team. In this role, you will be tasked with performing a variety of mechanical assembly jobs relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written. You are responsible for: * Working from diagrams and drawings * Using hand and/or power tools and jigs. * Making continuity checks on work in process and completed. * May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. * May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. * Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: * 3+ years of related experience * Strong assembly skills * Ability to execute on all procedures, processes and work instructions * Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper application * Must be able to meet quality and quantity production requirements * High School Degree or equivalent required * Must be a US citizen with an active DOD secret clearance or have the ability to obtain one Preferred Qualifications: * Experience using Factory Logix * Strong organizational and time management skills * Must be detailed oriented * Strong communication skills * Experience using Microsoft Office * Effectively learn and stay up to date on product configurations and best practices Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $41,800 - $83,600 for a Level II at Oxnard CA USA. The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees.
