Job Title: Buyer Level 2
Job Description
This Buyer Level 2 supply chain professional is responsible for representing the company in the sourcing, strategic selection, and management of vendors. The goal is to procure the highest quality products on time and within agreed-upon terms under only general supervision.
Hard Skills
Excel and SAP Experience
Negotiations and Cost Management
Manufacturing
Inventory Management
Vendor Management
Bachelor's degree
Microsoft Office Experience Required.
Procurement strategies and negotiations
Expert level in negotiations and basic forms of negotiations
Experience or knowledge with Sheet metal fabrication would be ideal
Soft Skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and co-workers
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Oxnard, California.
Work Environment
On-site, no remote opportunities during the contract. M-F 8-5, with flexible hours possible, such as 7-3:30 or 6-2:30. Office environment with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.
