Job Description Summary
Assistant Teaching Professor or Assistant Lecturer (non tenure-track) position starting in the Fall Semester of 2025 to teach multiple sections of introductory and/or intermediate Information Systems courses, including programming and database, at the undergraduate level in the Farmer School of Business as needed and participate in service activities within the Information Systems & Analytics Department and the University.
Job Description
The Department of Information Systems & Analytics, with approximately 100 graduates per year, and approximately 30 full time faculty members made up of tenure/tenure track, teaching, and visiting faculty members. The department values high quality teaching and research. The Farmer School ranks in the top 10 for undergraduate business education.
Minimum Requirements:
Required:
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field by date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Lecturer.
- Doctorate in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field by date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor.
Consideration may be given to candidates with at least three years of experience teaching undergraduate introductory or intermediate Information Systems or technology courses to business students.
