Granville Health System Physician Practices Manager in Oxford, North Carolina

Position Summary: Facilitate the management of the practice operations for Outpatient Practices with Granville Health System. This includes the following outpatient practices: ENT, Urology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Heart # Vascular.# Coordination and management of daily tasks for staff members; Provide management oversight for the registration and scheduling process to facilitate the collection of accurate patient demographic and insurance information; Establish quality control techniques to ensure that correct billing information is collected to produce and generate clean claims for submission; establish and maintain staffing competency program. Provide excellent customer service including problem solving, timely followup, assisting in answering phones and scheduling appointments; Facilitate the preparation and submission of employee payroll to payroll; Assist in reviewing vendor contracts, invoices and interacting with bookkeeping; support the practice compliance program including JCAH and Rural Health standards. Must be capable of orientating new staff and locum physicians to the practice. The person should#have the ability to multi-task; the person should have strong communication skills; must have strong time management and organizational skills; must have strong customer service and conflict resolution skills; must have strong troubleshooting skills; must have a knowledge of insurance and medical terminology. Must possess strong computer skills, including WORD, EXCEL and Outlook. Must be able to comprehend credentialing and aid in coordination of process. Must be able to handle multiple and complicated specialties with a highest level of accuracy. Must be proficient in knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes. Must be capable of preparing a schedule for multiple staff members and physicians. Must be willing to work shifts as needed when staffing issues require it. Minimum Qualifications: Two year associates degree in medical management preferred. Two years experience in medical office management required. Must possess knowledge and expertise in oversight of daily operations in conjunction with GHS policy and procedure. Experienced in all aspects of Medical Office Administration. Allscripts practice management system preferred. EHR knowledge preferred. Accountable to: Executive Director, Outpatient Practices # Ambulatory Services
