Description We are inviting applications for a Staff Accountant position in our Oxford, Florida office. The role involves dealing with financial transactions such as cash and credit card accounting, including accounts receivable and payable. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity with a focus on maintaining precise financial records and resolving related inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing cash applications using Sage Intacct

• Recording and paying bills in a timely manner

• Managing accounts payable and receivable activities

• Recording credit card charges and payoffs

• Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger

• Preparing and posting journal entries

• Assisting with month-end closing activities

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action when required Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a plus

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct accounting software a plus

• Experience with Cash Applications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures

• Strong organizational and time management skills
