Maintenance Supervisor

Lakeside Book Company offers an incredible opportunity for career growth, continuous learning, and broad experience. We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to support our growing business and our growing publishing customers. As the largest book manufacturer in the United States, you will guide and develop our people as they grow their careers putting books in the hands of readers across the country.

Salary Range: $61,000 - $96,000 based upon experience

Work Hours: 7a-4p daily with overtime as needed.

Location: 1005 Commercial Drive, Owensville, MO 65066

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Ensure the safety of employees
• Set direction and tone as a front line leader for employees involved in installing maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and facilities
• Make operational decisions to ensure that we have safe and efficient equipment and to produce quality products
• Provide instruction, coaching, and development to employees
• Create, implement and audit work processes that continually evolve and improve
• Seek out, suggest and implement automated and other enhancements to processes and workflows
• Ensure preventative maintenance and overhauls are scheduled, performed and properly resourced
• Lead and support continuous improvement processes and projects
• Manage projects to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes

Qualifications:

• 5 years leading people in a manufacturing environment
• 5 years of maintenance experience
• 5 years of project management experience
• Experience working with data, blueprints, OSHA requirements
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement processes
