Here's what you'd do:

• This is an FPGA Design/verification Engineering contract position.
• Firmware Engineering and FPGA design responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software and troubleshooting code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications.
• Work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.
• Performing Design Architecture activities for various programs and IRAD projects.
• Typically programs in machine, assembly, and high-level languages (System Verilog, VHDL, C, C++).
• Working with the Hardware Engineering Team to complete Hardware Development, Simulation, and Verification for digital signal processing and general processing projects.
• Supported integrated product teams, engineering project managers, and program office staff to meet all customer objectives and program milestones.
• We use System Verilog.

Hours: 4/10-1^st Shift.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Active Secret DoD Clearance.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in performing FPGA/Firmware architecture and design.
• Minimum of 4 years experience with standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in hardware design.
• Minimum of 4 years of System Verilog, C, C++, and Matlab experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) experience.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in VHDL.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Simulation.
