Field Bank Account Clerk

ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking a Field Bank Account Clerk to join our team! This role is responsible for opening, monitoring, and reconciling field bank accounts, ensuring smooth financial operations, and resolving issues. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating with others, this position offers an exciting opportunity.

YOU HAVE:

  • Education. High school education or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or banking/finance is preferred.

  • Experience. 1-2 years of accounting experience, with at least one year of experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Technical Skills. Ability to organize and analyze detailed bank information accurately and work with multi-component account systems.

  • Communication Skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with various teams and handle customer interactions.

  • Team Player. Ability to work closely with others in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

  • Detail-Oriented. Capable of handling a variety of tasks with precision and care.

YOU WILL:

  • Monitor and Reconcile Field Bank Accounts. Reconciles monthly bank statements and monitors cash compliance policies. Makes manual adjustments to A/R and deposit liability per information from plants, reps and banks. Daily maintenance of bank accounts including NSF processing and researching unidentified bank items.

  • Receive and Process Deposit Information. Receive payment and deposit information via phone, fax, and email from the sales force. You will be responsible for entering this information into our systems accurately.

  • Perform Account Maintenance. Open, close, and maintain field bank accounts, ensuring compliance with cash policies. Perform monthly maintenance, manual adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

  • Resolve Account Issues. Research and adjust Oracle accounts, address deposit discrepancies, and resolve issues with sales reps regarding monthly analysis forms for account reconciliations.

  • Assist with Audits and Projects. Prepare for account audits, verify down payment forms from plants, and assist with various department projects as needed.

Our Finance team combines traditional financial planning, analysis and accounting with collaborative business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting leadership in Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations.
