Job Description

• This is a Medical Assistant Floater position for the East-Orlando Region

• The candidate will primarily float within this region & may also be required to cover in locations outside of the region.

• The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment.

• This role supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating the pediatric patient population.

• The Laboratory Medical Assistant Floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

• This floating employee will be working in various offices to support either the MA role or dedicated Lab station. There is mileage reimbursement for the floater.

Hard Skills

• MA Diploma / Certification required OR a minimum of 3 years MA experience

• Active BLS certification

• Active & valid driver's license

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oviedo, Florida.

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturdays (up to 2x/ mo) 8am-12pm

Work Environment

Patient-facing, indoor work, operating computer, exposure to hazards, reach outward; reach above the shoulder, manual dexterity, lift/carry 10 lbs. or less, sitting, walking, squatting, kneeling, or bending.
