Planate Management Group LLC Administrative Intern in Oviedo, Florida

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Admin Intern position requires demonstrated flexibility, tact, and diplomacy. The position must have the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. The position must also possess the ability to anticipate the needs of the operations and business operations and respond accordingly while working in an environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

You will be required to work atleast 3 hours a day in our office in Orlando.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies

  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

  • Provide general support to visitors, clients, employee

  • Assist in procurement

  • Handle asset management system and inventory management

  • Mailing and shipping items are per request or company process

  • Schedule and arrange appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed

  • Maintain and order supplies for Planate offices

  • Coordinate staff and visiting staff travel arrangements including transportation and accommodation

  • Execute printing requests and other documents

  • Manage the cleaning service, utilities, rentals, and other requirements

  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications To be successful in the role:

  • College student pursuing Marketing, Business Management, or related fields

  • New graduates are welcome

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable and flexible with routinely shifting demands and responsibilities

  • A high degree of attention to detail

  • Data entry experience

  • Working knowledge of general office equipment
