Job Description:

The Solution Architect is responsible for evaluating an organization’s business needs and determining how technology can support the outcomes and expectations required. Aligning technology strategies with business goals has become paramount, and a Solutions Architect can help determine, develop, implement and improve technical solutions in support of business goals.

The Solution Architect is a bridge between technology and business operations to ensure everyone is aligned in developing and implementing technical solutions for business problems. The process requires regular feedback, adjustments, and problem solving in order to properly design and implement potential solutions. To be successful as a Solution Architect, you should have excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understanding their needs (lead architect assessment meetings).

  • Determine how to address the needs or gaps between the current state and the desired technical functionality.

  • Communicate with key stakeholders, across multiple stages of the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain a sense of ownership for the solution design and delivery.

  • Generate the high-level designs and lead architectural decisions.

  • Collaborate with team members to convert high-level designs to detailed requirements documents.

  • Interact with clients to gather requirements and create end-to-end process flows.

  • Provide clarification and answer any question regarding the solution architecture.

  • Lead the development coordination of custom enterprise solutions.

  • Responsible for following established application architectures, ensuring high performance, scalability, and availability.

  • Responsible for ensuring overall data architectures, modeling, and related standards are enforced throughout the enterprise ecosystem including data, master data, and metadata, processes, governance, and change control.

    Basic Qualifications:

    · Minimum of 6 years of experience in software or solution architecture disciplines

    · Minimum of 6 years of experience with public cloud computing ecosystems such as Azure, Google Cloud, or Amazon Web Services

    · Minimum of 4 years of client facing solutions or technical architecture role

    Preferred Skills:

    · A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent.

    · Experience with low code / no code platforms.

    · Experience in designing, building and implementing complex software systems including integrations and data transformations.

    · Proficient in business process analysis and project management.

    · Good understanding of designs, processes, and standards involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications.

    Professional Skills Requirements:

    · Experience in leading dedicated teams on a project.

    · Experience in working with geographically diverse team members.

    · Strong presentation skills, able to lead discussions at multiple levels.

    · Able to travel when needed (less than 50%).

    · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in technical and non-technical terms.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.
