As Senior Manager of Media , you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of media strategies to deliver brand growth. This includes managing day to day operations of the Hill’s Media team, managing our agency partners responsible for buying media programmatically across social, display, video, search and CTV/ATV. This position requires the ability to work cross functionally across our organization in a highly visible role while balancing a range of projects and priorities. The role requires a lot of multitasking, analytics and executional management.. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and able to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment that will require constant adaptation. Extensive experience in executing and coordinating large-scale full funnel media campaigns across paid channels is a must have.
What You Will Do:
Media Targeting & Execution Strategy - 40%
Define the audience targeting and media channel execution strategy for our brand growth plans.
Coordinate planning and operations across commercial, brand, analytics and digital marketing teams.
Work with the agency and analytics team to make mid and post campaign optimizations.
Work with the Brand marketing team to determine budget allocation for media campaigns against target audiences, channels, and tactics.
Analytics & Reporting - 20%
Work with Insight and Analytics team and Agencies to understand and develop recommendations based on analytical models, commercial Media modeling, clean room analysis and similar tools.
Issue reports summarizing analysis and clear recommendations to the business on next steps and actionable media optimizations.
Socialize and align brand teams and cross functional teams on the actions and next steps from media reporting & analysis.
Brand Experience Planning - 20%
- Work with marketing and agency partners to help develop and coordinate growth plans, experience calendar, integrated marketing campaign, and measurement frameworks to drive strategic direction of the Hill’s Pet brand.
Media Operations & Leadership - 20%
Maintain relationships with all top publishers and partners and track industry trends and interpret these for business needs and opportunities to help drive acquisition.
Directly manage 1-2 people that lead Search and Media reporting.
Provide training on acquisition programs and facilitate the company’s knowledge growth and adoption of best practices
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing or Media or related field
8+ years of media experience (Media Planning, Buying, Analytics, Optimization, Execution)
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA applicable
Media Planning experience
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $131.000,00 - $163.000,00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
