Compensation Data
Salary: Up to $56,775.00 per year (eligible for annual bonus)
Purpose of the position
To deliver services in line with customer's needs and expectations
Main tasks and responsibilities
Perform transactional activity related to the Payments area
Responsible for resolving queries from customers, vendors and colleagues related to Payments
Maintain good working relationships within the other process teams
Identify process improvements: Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies
Specialist providing assistance on Payment-related inquiries, acting as an employee’s first line of contact via appropriate channels (tickets, mails, etc.)
Execute Daily tasks as per the agreed schedules for Payments file,
Booking and Reconcile bank statement with Cash flow,
Posting manually bank statements outside SWIFT channel for CSC companies in SAP
Monitor electronic bank statements from SWIFT channel for CSC companies in SAP
Resolve issue regarding missing statements from SWIFT
Make manual payments according to Diary of payments and bank cut off time
Check and make payments according to the liquidity
Verifying details in file payment, Confirming payment file, Sending, Release payment file
Month end activities: Running bank accruals, uploading EMEA bank statements, CLOCO,
Execute all activities as per the bank cut off time and agreed KPIs
Automated bank statement upload confirmations, Handling queries received in Payments mailbox
Recognize unusual events or consistent problems and work with team leader to resolve issues
Ensure customers are satisfied to maintain a positive brand image for the Kalmar
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate
Ensure data is accurate in company systems
Be part of building up the I2P area in the Kalmar in close cooperation with the project team
1st escalation point for process-related issues
Participate in transition activities when applicable:
Support the functional work stream
Support the transition of processes incl. knowledge transfer and work shadowing
Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability
All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- Minimum BA degree in finance or business or min. 4 years of relevant business experience and financial accounting skills
Experience:
- Experience with simple to complex Payments query handling
Competencies:
Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills
Hands-on experience working with ERP/Cloud system preferred, Online Banking
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT)
Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
Good at communicating in a professional manner
Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
