ADGA Group Consultants Inc Proposal Writer in Ottawa, Canada

Working closely with the Proposal Development Centre (PDC) team, Talent Acquisition team and Sales/Delivery teams, this individual will be responsible for working directly with consultants and employees to develop evaluation matrices, resumes, and technical documentation affiliated with the Task Authorization (TA) and Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The Writer is responsible for carefully preparing fully compliant candidate qualifying documentation in response to all mandatory and rated requirements as well as executing the processes and procedures of the Division, and supporting the mission, the vision and the strategy of the Corporation as approved by the Executive team. * Work with candidates to prepare high quality, compliant, matrices and resumes who are being proposed for call ups (task authorizations) and/or Request for Proposals (RFPs), matching the specific skills and experience of a candidate against the issued mandatory and rated requirements. * Write/tailor, rewrite and edit resume content as needed. * Research technical content related to Information Technology. * Review and understand the issued mandatory and rated requirements matrices and grids, and ask for clarification, if required. * Work with internal teams to get clarification on the resource request and/or identify weaknesses in the candidate’s technical score and suggest alternatives. * Liaise with Independent Consultant (ICs) and ADGA employees to establish a professional relationship in order to get additional information and clarifications on their experience in order to complete the requirements of the TA/RFP. * Perform quality review on previously written resource qualifying documents. * Assist in the development of corporate proposal documents for compliance and quality as required. * Maintain quality results by using tools/templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining TA/Proposal metrics. * Meets deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with stakeholders and contributing status information to review meetings. * Assist in the review/edit of content * Assist with other tasks as required * Academic background in Professional Writing preferred (can be a Degree, Diploma or certificate). A combination of education and experience with the proven ability to perform the job tasks may be accepted. * Experience preferably in a proposal development setting, including proven previous experience in writing compliant, high quality candidate qualifying documentation for task authorizations/proposals. * Experience with Canadian Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), private sector solicitations and online Vendor procurement sites (e.g. MERX, Buy and Sell). * Excellent organizational qualities and the ability to work under pressure without compromising quality is essential. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to details * High level technical proficiency in the MS Office suite (knowledge of SharePoint and Salesforce considered an asset) * Ability to plan and coordinate activities and multi-task with changing priorities and frequent interruptions. * Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Secret Government clearance * Bilingual is an asset ADGA commits to putting diversity into action to build a stronger, more representative team and help our customers and communities thrive.
