POSITION: Agricultural Equipment Operators, Farm Labor Temporary Position 9/15/24 to 12/31/2024

REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience in Agricultural Equipment Operating. Must be able to life 50 lbs. Must have a driver's license.

DUTIES: Wheatland Industries, Inc. is a dryland family farm operation. We are looking for someone who can help with maintaining and operating large farm equipment, primarily John Deere and Case machinery equipped with GPS for tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain crops; drive semi-truck with grain trailer or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment from field to designated storage locations; grain bin and auger operation; mixing fertilizer and chemicals to appropriate specs; walking fields pulling off-type weeds; maintaining farm by mowing, cleaning up old buildings and farmstead; preparing location and assembling steel farm building; driving farm vehicles; daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. WAGE: $16.63 per hour. Housing may be Provided and transportation to employer work site.

Effective 1/1/24, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers, after 54 hours worked per week for non-highly seasonal employers, and after 56 hours worked per week for small employers.

Employer will abide by all Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and the Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Order (COMPS order) #38.

DAYS AND HOURS: 9/15/2024 - 12/31/2024 Monday-Saturday, 8:00am-5:00pm. 48 Hours per week
