Lead OpenShift DevOps Engineer Description

We are looking for a Lead DevOps engineer for leading PaaS OpenShift stream.

As a DevOps Engineer and Team Leader, you will work on a team from internal business units. You will develop, test, implement and review CloudApp(PaaS) platform based on OKD4(OpenShift v4).

CloudApp Engine is a hybrid PaaS on top of 4 public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP and EPAM Cloud).



What You’ll Do

  • Coordination OpenShift team (reviewing merge requests, docs, and concepts) and approving of technical solutions/decisions

  • Design CloudApp architecture and documentation

  • Communicate with Stakeholders and clients

  • Planning the scope of the sprints based on priorities from RoadMap

What You Have

  • Experience working with container technologies including Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP (container services)

  • Experience with the development, deployment, and automation of Cloud Native solutions in an enterprise environment

  • Experience with Databases container services

  • Experience with development and planning methodologies

  • Experience in performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting in an enterprise

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, and continuous learning mindset

  • Decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to mentor others

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely

  • Primary Skills (Experience with) :

  • Kubernetes (Openshift)

  • Openshift Service / Operators Catalog knowledge

  • Go code + Operator framework good knowledge

  • Open Service Broker API ( (OSB API) for Kubernetes knowledge

  • Git Flow
