Richmond Community Services, a leading provider of support services for Westchester County's developmentally, intellectually and behaviorally challenged individuals, is seeking a dynamic Residence Manager for a group home located in Ossining, New York.

Position Summary

The Residence Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the floor ensuring support of high quality of life for those individuals who live there and that each individual's person-centered needs (including but not limited to: physical, medical, emotional, social, familial, safety, and communication needs) are supported within the residential setting. The Manager supervises and provides direction to the staff, acts as a liaison with families and the community, has detailed knowledge of the individual supported and fosters Richmond's Mission and Vision, maintains the fiscal integrity of the residence, and ensures compliance with organizational, procedural and quality standards. The Manager works cooperatively with all RCS departments to ensure the quality of life and continuity of care for the individuals served.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or Registered Nurse license with 3 years of relevant management experience within developmental disabilities field, or 3 plus years relevant supervisory experience and demonstrated competence in independently managing/supervising a group home.

  • Good computer and organizational skills.

  • Valid New York State driver’s license and maintenance of Richmond Driver Authorization required. Access to a vehicle to transport self between Agency sites required.

  • This position is full-time and the candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including some late evenings, early mornings, and/or weekends.

Pay starting from $32.91 to $37.06, commensurate based upon experience.

This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
