JOB REQUIREMENTS: About This Opportunity The Field Installation Superintendent will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure that work is done safely, in a timely manner, within budget and at a superior level of quality. While work is taking place, the Field Installation Superintendent will monitor progress of work, oversee delivery of materials and carry out safety checks and sort out any problems which could hold up work as they arise. The Field Installation Superintendent will maintain close contact with members of their site team, and liaise with general contractors, engineers, and other subcontractors. What You Will Do Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems Supervise, participate in, and manage the performance and job responsibilities of GFS Install staff and subcontractors performing general tasks that require physical abilities and effort in working with the GFS install crew Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to GFS install crew, subcontractors, GFS distributors, general contractor and the owner or owner representative Inspect and review project to monitor compliance with contract documents and safety codes, and other regulations Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods Ensure all safety and quality protocols are being followed What You Have to Offer Associates Degree in Construction/Building Management, Building Engineering/Studies, Construction Engineering or Management or Civil Structural Engineering and 5+ Years\' Experience. 1-2 years of leadership experience Knowledge of construction site safety rules and regulations Knowledge of installation and general construction applications and terminology.
