About The Job:

The HIM Clerk is responsible for maintaining MCRHC's medical records which includes assembling paper records into proper batches and scanning them into PowerChart, analyzing and abstracting patient records, handling release of information requests, distributing copies of records as requested, and processing incomplete records according to departmental policies. Pulling and prepping paper charts for upcoming appointments. Filing paper records into the Clinic chart, pulling paper records for phone calls, prescription refill requests, release of information requests, etc.

Position Details:

• The role is PRN-As needed

• Typical shift will be Monday-Friday 9:00-4:30

  The salary: $15.90 increases with experience.

  Position Qualifications:

  Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  Some medical coursework preferred.

  Experience:

  Previous experience in medical records preferred.
