Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer 2, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a self-motivated attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer II

Location: Orlando, FL 32817

Pay Range: $30.00-35.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Lead Product Qualification Activities at Suppliers - Product and Process Qualifications (PPQs)

• Manage and resolve Quality issues related to supplier non-conforming components

• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions

• Audit existing and potential suppliers to ensure quality systems are in place

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain

What's Needed?

• Technical training or further education in quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering

• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001) and Supplier Quality Management (SQM)

• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and drawing interpretation

• Proven ability to manage multi-problem investigations simultaneously

• Knowledge of inspection methodologies and assessment of inspection capability
