Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Android Developer to join their team in Orlando, FL. This person will be part of the organization's Retail and Restaurant Commerce Technology team and will contribute to large development projects and collaborate with 3rd party teams as well as internal stakeholders. You will need to be able to design and develop large software systems while being able to implement software fixes and enhancements, write code, complete programming, perform tests, and debug. They are looking for this person to have heavy experience with Android development with a focus on web and mobile application development. This position will be onsite 3 days a week in Orlando.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years' experience of design, development, and implementation of software systems for web and mobile applications

• Extensive Android development experience with Java and Kotlin

• Strong understanding of Android OS and SDK

Experience with SDLC, backlog management, and DORA metrics

• Storage stack experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and Android

• Has utilized Git, GitLab, and GitHub for CI/CD

• Expert in Mobile Application integration in HTTP and REST-style web services

• Track and perform Agile ceremonies with tools such as Jira

• Bachelor's degree - Flutter

• Designing APIs from scratch

• Application monitoring experience with AppDynamics, - - - - New Relic, Splunk, etc.

• Crash reporting tools such as New Relic, Crashlytics, etc.
