JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain real-time embedded software applications.

• Work with applications such as software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, missile guidance/ navigation/ control algorithms, missile launchers, system control, built-in test, and system communication.

• Performs development in C++ hosted on a Linux-based environment or VxWorks or Integrity as the real-time operating system.

• Works with standard communication busses and protocols including RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553 and Ethernet

• Works throughout the entire software development lifecycle including architecture, design, code implementation, and integration and test.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Active Secret Clearance is required prior to start

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 11 years of related work experience OR

• Master's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of related work experience

• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented-principles, C++

• Ability to complex problem solving using data structures and algorithms, and deep understanding of Operating System concepts.

• Familiarity with standard communication busses and protocols including RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553 and Ethernet is helpful but not required.

• Must have experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle including architecture, design, code implementation, and integration and test.

• Must have a strong background in real-time embedded software development along with demonstrated technical leadership.

• Must be familiar with using source code control and issue tracking tools along with using modern test tools to do unit test and static analysis.

• Must be able to configure and manage a continuous test environment.

• Familiarity with Agile development, Cyber Security, Department of Defense products, board support package and device driver development is a plus
