Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) Program Manager - Production Manager in Orlando, Florida

Overview

i3 is seeking a Program Manager to help foster development and manage cost, schedule, and performance of assigned projects. Provide or coordinate subject matter expertise on respective requirements and standards. Oversee project management, coordinate performance of technical teams in alignment with project needs and goals, and interface/brief internal and external stakeholders per Business Unit Director and Organizational Leader guidance. Align with Training Aids Devices, Simulators, and Simulations Portfolio, Orlando Business Unit, and assigned Program Organization strategic goals and objectives. Responsible for growth, development, and nurturing of people, programs, capabilities, and execution activities under purview. Partake in Business Development, Formal Growth, and Organic Growth activities as directed by the Business Unit Director. This position is located in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple agile software development projects and programs using Jira.

  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, aligning with business objectives and strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain a global view of individual projects throughout the production life cycle.

  • Facilitate agile events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Manage program backlogs, ensuring proper prioritization and grooming of backlog.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.

  • Implement and optimize agile processes and best practices across the organization.

  • Utilize Jira's advanced features for program management, reporting, and analytics.

  • Provide regular schedule updates and reports to stakeholders and management.

  • Manage development life cycle of assigned program and manage complex projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop a strategy and action plan to deliver compelling and value-add innovations and capabilities.

  • Coordinate staffing decisions, skill mix, and assessments under Organizational Lead / Senior Program Manager direction.

  • Instill best practices, ensure designs requirements met, and deliver high-quality services.

  • Advocate i3 culture and embody i3 core values.

  • Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals to the organization.

  • Organize, direct, and coordinate contract support activities.

  • Support Formal and Organic business development activities as directed by Business Unit Director and Organizational Lead

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.

  • Minimum 3-10 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven ability to manage costs on multimillion-dollar ($5-$15M) design and development program to include estimates at complete (EAC) and other cost accounting methods.

  • Hands-on technical expertise preferred.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Jira, including advanced configurations, workflows, and integrations.

  • Strong understanding of agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Program road mapping and strategic planning.

  • Risk management and mitigation.

  • Stakeholder management and communication.

  • Data-driven decision making using agile metrics and reports.

  • Verifiable background leading projects and teams, managing complex programs that include multiple subcontractors, material vendors, and discerning customers.

  • Proven business and technical vision. 

  • Exceptional customer relationship skills to include ability to uncover true requirements, recommend alternative solutions and approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet forward-leaning timelines.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable with independent and team-based problem solving.

  • DoD security clearance (or ability to obtain / maintain).

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
