Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and develop communication devices and accessories. The ideal candidate will analyze mechanical samples, create 2D/3D CAD drawings, and assist with data collection and root cause analysis. This role also involves supporting manufacturing and mechanical engineering activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capture user and market requirements.

  • Design mechanical/electromechanical systems for various equipment.

  • Collaborate with the hardware team for design feedback.

  • Generate detailed CAD drawings and documentation.

  • Understand and create mechanical Bill-of-Material structures.

  • Solve assembly problems and develop fixtures.

  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure design integrity.

  • Perform tolerance analysis and ensure manufacturability of designs.

  • Support the development and testing of prototypes.

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in parametric design software (SolidWorks, Pro Engineer/Wildfire).

  • Experience with FEA software.

  • Inspect first article samples and use measurement equipment.

  • Strong parametric design knowledge.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of design experience.

  • Understanding of advanced engineering concepts and CAD modeling.

  • NO C2C or sponsorship available.
