Responsibilities

• Maintain operational efficiency of production equipment.

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines.

• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, wear assessment, component repositioning, and monitoring of operations, vibrations, and noise levels.

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to ensure continuous plant operations.

• Utilize measurement and testing instruments accurately.

• Carry out repairs and installations across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems as required.

• Install wiring and conduit for both new and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, and manufacturing machinery.

• Replace defective electrical components like relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices such as proximity switches and photoelectric devices.

• Troubleshoot and rectify problems in pneumatic, hydraulic, and drive systems including AC and DC drives.

• Interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic for maintenance purposes.
