Robert Half Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Orlando, Florida

Description

We are in search of a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role is primarily concerned with developing our annual operating budget and long-term strategic plan, analyzing financial information to produce forecasts, and driving continual improvement of our budgeting process. This role is located in the finance industry and will be based at our Orlando office.

Responsibilities:

• Establish the company's annual operating budget and long term strategic plan in coordination with the executive team.

• Drive continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify requirements for enhancing existing financial reporting and planning systems.

• Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.

• Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics, trends, analyses, and forecasts, including short and long-range cash flow projections and capital asset planning to facilitate timely decision making by business unit leaders.

• Collaboratively work with the CFO and other leaders to identify cost savings, competitive advantages, weaknesses, and opportunities; then manage the implementation of those items identified.

• Provide direct supervision and strategic leadership to build a Financial Planning & Analysis team including hiring, performance management, coaching, and counseling, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and have a degree in Accounting - CPA strongly preferred

• Proficient in preparing the Annual Operating Budget

• Experienced in conducting Trend Analysis

• Skilled in KPI Reporting

• Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles

• Proven leadership and management capabilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree or CPA certification preferred)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data

• Must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
