Butler America Electro Mechanical Design Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Electro Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #69727 Pay Range: $55-65 12 months Active Secret Clearance is preferred. Must be able to obtain Secret. Not needed to start. Candidates must be local to the Orlando, FL site. Summary Design work includes complex electronics chassis, printed wiring board (PWB), circuit card assembly (CCA) design and cable harnesses.

  • Employee will report to the HW IPT Lead to generate harness concepts for subsystem interfaces, generate wiring diagram, generate Development Parts List (DPL), support component procurement, and integration support.

  • Candidate should be able to work with a diverse team of internal organizations, managing supplier inputs, and developing internal documentation.

  • This effort requires ability to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power benefits.

  • This effort will be fast-paced and will utilized a tailored PDP process to support a quick-turn missile demo.

    Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience with the following:

  • The ideal candidate would be proficient in the CREO, Zuken, Missile harnessing approaches, missile architecture, and integration.

  • Printed wiring board (PWB), circuit card assembly (CCA) design and cable harnesses.

    Familiarity with CAMEO would be a plus.
