Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Director, Compliance to join our Patient Service Center Team. While this role is remote the the preferred candidate should reside near Coraopolis, PA; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Raleigh, NC. We are open to candidates in Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia.

The Director of Compliance is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with policies, contractual and regulatory obligations, and all state and federal requirements. The Director of Compliance will build and manage strategic partnerships with internal business units and external clients, toward a common goal of compliance excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmacy operations, legal requirements, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs to ensure adherence to all pharmacy-related regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, FDA, and state & federal pharmacy laws.

  • Conduct regular audits and monitoring activities to assess compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies. Identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans to address deficiencies.

  • Identify potential risks related to operations and compliance. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the organization is prepared to address compliance challenges.

  • Work closely with other departments, including but not limited to legal, technology, pharmacy, and other business teams to ensure alignment of compliance efforts across the organization.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation such as policies, procedures, protocols, and records to meet the requirements of clients, regulatory agencies, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Serve as a liaison with clients and regulatory agencies for the day-to-day management of contractual and regulatory compliance issues that impact operations.

  • Lead and/or support various enterprise strategic initiatives.

  • Provide leadership & manage a team of compliance professionals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare or a related field and/or equivalent work experience also considered

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy compliance or legal affairs within a pharmacy, HUB, or covered entity.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, documentation management principles, and change control practices.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions under pressure, and drive results.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharm D or RPh

  • Both pharmacy and healthcare contact center HUB experience

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and teleworking from the employees home address listed in their employment file. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. When telecommuting employees must have reliable internet access in order to access required systems and software associated with the position's responsibilities. The amount of time the employee is expected to work per day or pay period will not change as a result of participation in the teleworking program. Employees are responsible for the set-up of their home office environment, including physical set-up, internet connection, phone line, electricity, good lighting, comfortable temperature, furniture, etc. Employees teleworking space should be separate and distinct from their home space and allow for privacy. The company expects employees teleworking to be as efficient and professional as if they were in the office. The amount of time spent in office or teleworking is contingent upon the needs/priorities of the company and will vary based on those needs/priorities.
