A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Cybersecurity Project Management Office (PMO) Lead for the Digital Grid team at Siemens Energy, you'll embark on a journey where each day is a blend of project oversight and dynamic action. From leading Scrum teams to aligning on project objectives and KPIs, managing project timelines and budgets, to collaborating with cross-functional teams for synchronized project execution and project bids, your role is pivotal in cybersecurity governance, gap analysis, maturity assessment, and vulnerability management projects for power generation and utility digital grid solutions. It's also a critical position to maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders and will be at the heart of our mission to deliver cybersecurity solutions drive transformative initiatives driving our key values of collaboration, innovation, and making a tangible impact.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • By leading Digital Grid cybersecurity projects, you will directly contribute to customer initiatives to secure power generation and digital power transmission of renewables, including the transformative journey of renewable energy from today to the future.

  • Your expertise in managing projects through agile methodologies will enhance our ability to respond swiftly and effectively to cybersecurity compliance requirements and challenges.

  • Through your leadership, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, driving our team to achieve and exceed our customer’s digital grid cybersecurity goals.

  • Your experience is leading both IT and OT/ICS cybersecurity projects will ensure we not only support meeting, but surpassing metrics on availability, integrity, and confidentiality to support critical infrastructure resilience of our clients critical infrastructure.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

  • 8 or more years of technical acumen and years of experience leading cybersecurity projects, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex challenges and drive results.

  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices, especially in IT and OT-ICS environments, equipped with relevant certifications (CISSP and GIAC Cybersecurity Leadership preferred).

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, showcasing your expertise in managing projects from conception to completion.

  • Agile methodologies and Scrum experience.

  • Experience guiding organizations through levels of the Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2).

  • A collaborative spirit, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams across different disciplines.

  • A commitment to integrity and confidentiality, earning the trust of colleagues and stakeholders alike.

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the US and globally.

  • Fluency in English required, Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
