The Hilton Orlando (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/orlochh-hilton-orlando/) is currently seeking their next Assistant Director of Food & Beverage! This role is responsible for overseeing and directing a new and exciting restaurant concept. In addition, you will assist in the direction and organization of activities and services for all hotel food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shops, and more. Hilton Orlando offers an upscale resort experience located just 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport, with close proximity to International Drive shopping and dining, world-famous theme parks and attractions such as SeaWorld® Orlando, and direct access to the Orange County Convention Center. The property features a wide range of amenities including two pools, a lazy river, a full-service spa, and seven unique dining options.

Qualifications & Experience

·Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Food & Beverage management.

·Experience in developing and implementing food and beverage strategies.

·Strong leadership and team management skills.

Skills:

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.

·Ability to manage multiple outlets simultaneously.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction and organization of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations, including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management, and meeting participation and facilitation.

·Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards.

·Develop and implement menus and food and beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director and the culinary team.

·Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.

·Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

·Recruit, interview, and train team members.
