Job Summary

Summary: Manages the operations of concession stands and performs a variety of concessions duties while providing a pleasant guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Supervises concession operations and assists where needed before and on event day

to ensure accurate staffing, production levels, quality control & timely service

*Oversees the opening and closing of the concession operation and reconciles

inventory sheets and supporting paperwork for all events

*May handle cash sales and credit card transactions while maintaining accurate cash

handling procedures at all times, ringing all sales into the register

*Verifies beginning and ending inventory counts

*Communicates to the warehouse any stock that is needed during the event and

ensures proper transfer procedures

*Maintains cleanliness of concession areas and proper working order of concession

equipment including safe operation of such equipment

*Assists in the training of concessions staff and nonprofit groups

*Assists in maintaining uniforms

*Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with staff and customers during

events

*Ensure that concession stands maintain sufficient product levels to service the event.

*Direct concession stand personnel to assure delivery of excellent customer service to guests attending the event.

*Direct stand personnel in established food production for the event by utilizing provided production sheets.

*Reads, understands and communicates all pertinent event information as discussed in pre-shift meeting.

*Contacts warehouse for additional inventory needed during event.

*Assures that all stand personnel are compliant with alcohol service policy.

*Assures that all products are merchandised properly and re-stocked as needed.

*Trouble shoots equipment and records any equipment needing repairs or replacement.

*Must be familiar with POS system and provide training to new stand personnel.

*Records opening & closing inventories, product transfers and product waste and or spoilage.

*Maintains cleanliness and organization in the concession stands at opening, during event and closing.

*Completes all required event related paperwork

*Performs other tasks as assigned

*Set-up of all concessions locations prior to start of event, which includes: verifying opening inventory, assigning duties to concession workers (employee/volunteer), ensuring sanitation standards are met, checking food and beverage production meets projected event needs.

*Requisitions and stocks all food and beverage products and supplies needed for assigned locations.

*Train and coach new & current employees on standard operation procedures in the concessions area.

*Provide back-up to any open position to ensure the concession location is fully operational. Ensures that company standards pertaining to speed of service and guest satisfaction are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year leadership experience.
